Miranda on the Cover of Vogue Italia September 2010

A magazine that escapes its own pages to become real in the hands of its readers. It reinvents itself and - first among fashion magazines - challenges, once again, the strict schemes of printed paper. Vogue's new frontier is called 3D. Because enclosed in the September issue of Vogue Italia (today in newsstands in Milan, from the beginning of next week in the rest of Italy) you'll find a special pair of 3D vision glasses.
You'll just need to wear them to see the cover and the cover story Miranda - shot by photography master Steven Meisel - which is to be read and seen from a different perspective.
The protagonist of the 22 pages of the photo shoot with such powerful visual impact is Australian top model Miranda Kerr.
Thanks to the possibility of seeing in three dimensions, Vogue images will acquire a totally new power, crossing the borders of fashion photo shoots, to strengthen even more the very high quality pictures, which have always been the trademark of the magazine.
Cover and cover story, but that's not all: for Vogue Italia readers the 3D surprises of the September issue carry on in The Scent of the Future, a story shot by Tim Walker.
On the cover: Natural beauty, as interpreted by Miranda Kerr and her breathtaking appeal. A sublime makeup is her ally. With an outdoor foundation like Double Wear, which guarantees a soft color, and maintains it all day long.
On the cheeks, a pastel nuance from Silky Powder Blush, in Tender Petal. On the eyelids, a nude tonality and dark shadows near the lashes: these are shades from the mono-shades by Pure Color Eyeshadow, in Fresh Nude and Sugar Biscuit.

Miranda Kerr: Yes, I'm Pregnant!

Make room for another Victoria's Secret supermodel mommy.
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child together, the Australian model tells the Spanish edition of Vogue in its September issue.
"Yes, I am pregnant. Four months along," says Kerr, 27, confirming much buzz about a possible baby after the couple announced their engagement in June, then quietly wed in July.
It hasn't exactly been easy to keep the good news under wraps. "I remember on one occasion in the early days [of my pregnancy] when it was still too soon to say anything, and I had a dreadful time at one job," she says, recalling morning sickness during the first trimester.
Settling down and starting a family has always been on the agenda for Kerr.
"My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch," she told Page Six Magazine in 2008. "When this is all over, that's where I'll be. I've always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen."

Nikki Reed launches official website with trip photos, more

The Twilight Lexicon recently caught wind of a new official website for actress Nikki Reed.
The site – which is located at IAmNikkiReed.com – contains photos from a recent trip to Africa as well as some nice blog posts including one on whether or not it’s nice to go with your parents on a road trip.
In terms of a site for an actor or actress, this is probably one of the most down-to-earth sites we’ve seen!

'Twilight' star Nikki Reed now a music video director and webmistress

For a twenty-two year old woman, Nikki Reed has a good deal of accomplishments under her belt. She's been an award-winning screenwriter, an actress, and now she's directed a music video and begun a website of her very own.
Twilight Lexicon verified the authenticity of Reed's independent website, IamNikkiReed.com, and now that we know it's official, there is a lot to be learned about Reed.
In her blog posts on the website, Reed reveals that she fancies photography and always takes pictures of the sun whereever she goes. "They aren't that interesting, but they make me smile...and sneeze," she explains.
Reed presents photos from her trips to Africa, Shreveport, and Illinois on her page, amongst other things.
Reed's directorial debut, too, has been revealed. Last night, Sage (a friend and burgeoning musician) revealed the music video to her song "Edie Sedgwick" at Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, and the video was directed by Nikki Reed. Photos from Sage's reveal can be found at Twilight Sisterhood.
Sage's official YouTube page posted the video for the song today, and you can check it out below.
